The Central District of California is the largest in the U.S. Currently,
the district presides in Los Angeles, Riverside, Santa Ana, Santa Barbara, and the San Fernando
Valley. Covering over 40,000 square miles, the Central District jurisdiction includes the Central
Coastal area eastward to the state border. The Court maintains jurisdiction in
the seven county region comprised of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, Santa Barbara,
Ventura, and San Luis Obispo Counties.
The Central District supplies debtors with web access to petitions, schedules and related forms and
documents. Also, local rules and filing instructions are available. Be aware

dissemination of what could be considered as legal counsel, advice or assistance. Federal Rules of Bankruptcy Procedure and Official Bankruptcy Forms
